Wisconsin Round Two.

We had another lovely trip back to Wisconsin back in November. We were blessed to see our families and celebrate the love of my brother and his new wife. Cheers to the new Mr. and Mrs. Piepenburg!

Some memories/highlights from our trip:

  • A stop in the Husco Waukesha office – it was great to see those familiar faces again!
  • My favorite sushi restaurant, Meiji. We had not only one, but two stops at this Gem while we were back. This wasn’t an issue for me of course. 🙂
  • Thrifting with my sister – finding old treasures and spending time together sipping coffee.
  • Dentist appointments for Jacob and I – no cavities!
  • Pork chop dinner with my parents and sister and both sets of grandparents. It was lovely getting hugs and high fives and catching up. My dad makes the most delicious pork chops in his smoker and they did not disappoint. Additional highlights – fire stick making and Macy.
  • Piepenburg wedding prep featuring Molly’s Cricket and Elliot’s sander (bet you never thought you could use a sander to flood icing onto cookies).
  • Bridal brunch for Emma Claire at the cutest coffee shop – it was lovely to meet many of the special ladies in your life!
  • Delicious rehearsal dinner and entertaining speeches in honor of the bride and groom – we love Wendigo’s cheese curds!
  • The most beautiful wedding celebration – Elliot and Emma Claire, you two make such a wonderful couple and we were honored to stand up and support you on your special day surrounded by family and friends. Another plus – it was great to catchup and gives hugs to so many of our family members we haven’t seen in a while. Thank you for making this possible!
  • Culvers send off stop with my family and Jacob’s parents/sister before we headed back to the airport.

We are so blessed and thankful for family time, especially being so far away. It was lovely to see you all and we will be back again next year. We love you all!

Thanks for reading,

– Amber
